Old Airport Road Food Centre is IMHO the best food centre in Singapore. One popular stall there is Toa Payoh Rojak. It has been voted by Singaporeans as the best hawker stall on numerous occasions. Don't be deceived by the humble appearance of its rojak ($3), it is said to be the best in Singapore.
The prawn paste is thick and tastes just nice, not too bland nor too heavy. But what I really like about this rojak is the crispiness of the fried dough fritters and the tau poks (bean curd puffs). A must-try for rojak lovers!
